Mt. Defiance Cider Barn

The Cider Barn is located just outside of downtown Middleburg, Virginia. Visit us Tuesday through Sunday from 12pm-6pm. We have a variety of ciders on tap and often have food trucks on the weekend.

Mt Defiance Cidery & Distillery operates a fully functioning brewery and distillery. We create hard cider in small batches which is available to sample at the Cider Barn. Our team is dedicated to producing high-quality ciders, which were popular in the United States throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. We offer a wide variety of ciders from traditional apple to ginger and pepper-infused brews. We’re always producing new flavors, which you can try on tap. You can also purchase our bottled ciders to take home.
