Viognier

In 2020 we lost about 40% of our crop thanks to a Mother’s Day freeze. We made the difficult decision to purchase fruit from some friends across the Commonwealth and Justin wanted to try his hand at a completely new varietal from what we grow here. He decided to source Viognier grapes from other Virginia growers. Viognier is one of the most popular white varietals grown in Virginia, and we are excited to share this with you!

This is 100% Viognier was fermented and aged in neutral barrels, allowing the fruit to really shine. It has the aromas of peaches and mangoes, with undertones of rose petals and honeysuckle.
