Meritage

Ripe red current and cassis combine with savory licorice and an earthy leather component in our 2015 blend. A healthy dose of Petiti Verdot contributes textured, smokey tannins. Restrained oak lends structure and length to the finish. This is a wine that drinks well in its youth and will only benefit from bottle age. 43% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 21% Petit Verdot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged 20 months in French oak, 35% new.
