The 2013 growing season was bittersweet. Bitter because of a hard frost in the winter which decreased the crop load, sweet because this lower yield allowed for more intentional ripening of the fruit that remained, leading to high quality wines. This Mosaic vintage is 100% estate grown, which speaks to site selection and good vineyard management practices. Dark tobacco and leather alongside cooked blueberry and plum. The structure is solid leading to an even finish. Pair it in the tasting room with our burrata or at home with a seared steak with garlic and mushrooms or dark chocolate!
