The Signor is our winemaker's selection of the prime Hungarian Oak barrels of estate Sangiovese, aged a minimum of ten months in oak. The nose is traditional for Sangiovese with truffle, earth, leather and a hint of caramel. On the palate it gives round supple mouth feel, cherry, berry, red fruits, coffee and toast notes, and a smooth finish with hints of olive on the finish. Great by itself or with pasta, roast chicken, veal or lamb.
