This wine is a combination of several red grape varieties including Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Tannat, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from vineyards around the Commonwealth of Virginia (Roanoke, Nelson County, Gordonsville, among others). Some lots were pressed directly as rosé, some were bled off red tanks prior to fermentation. Fermentation itself occurred in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with gaining in neutral French Oak after fermentation. The wine was carbonated in tank prior to bottling, with just a hint of sweetness (0.2% Residual Sugar). Perfect for sipping on a warm afternoon, or to make any day a special occasion.
