Magic on the Mountain: Seminar and Dinner

Join us as we welcome three fellow Virginia producers for a rare, collaborative dining experience celebrating a stellar collection of vineyards on the Blue Ridge. 
For those who haven't celebrated Magic on the Mountain before, this annual event includes a tasting and dinner focused on a quartet of vineyards planted together on the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Bluemont. From these sites Lost Creek Vineyard, Bluemont Vineyard, October One Vineyard, and Walsh Family Wine produce wines which are beginning to emerge as voices of the upcoming Bluemont AVA.
This event begins with a seated, seminar-style tasting with all producers, followed by a dinner from chef Katie Rowley of Wined and Dined (menu below). Part seated tasting, part celebratory dinner; this event is one-of-a-kind. 
$155 / person. 21+ only. Seating is limited to ensure a comfortable environment.

Amuse
crispy pork belly with fennel soubise, apple butter, shaved apple slaw and
pickled mustard seeds
First Course
beet and burrata
with red beet puree, salt roasted beets whipped burrata, shaved fennel, frisée,
warm honey-citrus vinaigrette and coriander breadcrumbs
Second Course
braised lamb roulade with butternut squash puree, charred cabbage, black
truffle butter and red wine jus
Dessert
“fig newton” - warm Italian olive oil cake with homemade fig jam, white
chocolate anglaise, honey-almond brittle and mascarpone whipped cream
