Walsh Family Wine

Walsh Family Wine is a family-owned and -operated Virginia winery in Purcellville, about 20 minutes from Leesburg, producing vineyard-specific wines from our sites throughout Loudoun County – including Bethany Ridge, Twin Notch, North Gate and Russ Mountain.

Founded in 2014, Sarah and Nate Walsh are firmly dedicated to the production of premium Virginia wine. We chose this journey because of the potential we saw in our vineyard sites, and the ability to create wines which pulse with the distinctiveness and elegance of the rocky hills of Loudoun County. Visiting Walsh Family Wine:

We're open every day from noon to 6pm, and until 8pm on Fridays. No reservation is needed for groups of 6 or fewer; groups of 6+ should reserve a table ($45 group reservation fee, applied to wine and food purchases). Relax in our indoor tasting room, on the covered patio with vineyard views, or on the lawn, with seasonal firepits available on a first-come basis.

Our tasting is a self-guided flight of four rotating wines grown, produced and bottled by Walsh Family Wine. Our kitchen is open, and picnic food is welcome outdoors. Well-behaved children are welcome, and well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors. Buses and large groups are welcome before 2pm with a prior reservation.

Tour & Tasting Experience ($55 per person; book at https://www.walshfamilywine.com/reservation/type/estate-tour-experience): a tour of our vineyard and production facility followed by a seated tasting of our wines with a selection of small bites – about 90 minutes, and a great deep-dive into our winegrowing approach.

Friday Nights at Walsh: we stay open until 8pm every Friday – a perfect way to kick off the weekend.
