Prince Michel Petit Verdot

Inky color, and a hint of wild violets on the finish. 100% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18-20 months in French and American oak barrels. The Petit Verdot grape is thick-skinned which allows it to yield dark, deep purple toned colors similar to those of a Bordeaux. Petit Verdot produces a wine that is silky smooth with firm tannins and exotic, earthy flavors like wild violets and tobacco.  Other flavors reminiscent of dark fruits like blueberry and currant are prevalent as well.
