We made a first attempt at a no sulfites added red wine back in 2017 as part of our team's contribution to the work of the Virginia Winemakers Research Exchange (WRE) where winemakers test out different ideas and share the data and results.

This low intervention wine is estate grown and young (some remaining carbon dioxide from alcoholic fermentation can be perceived at the tasting), with a full fruity expression from aging three months in an amphora. It is meant to be drunk within a year or two.
