Monticello White Blend

This is the second vintage of Monticello White under its own Veritas label. We have bottled it a few times in our Momentarius line, which is a series of blends put together specifically for our Wine Club Members. Because it was so well received, and because it became an anticipated and exciting project in the cellar with the challenge of blending these unique white grapes while still finding balance, we decided it needed its own place in our lineup.

The main goal of this wine is to formulate a stylistic white blend made up of white grapes that are the most commonly planted in the Monticello AVA. The wine is gold in color, with pronounced aromas of white flowers, orange blossom, and acacia, followed of Meyer lemon, stone fruit, and ginger. On the palate, the wine has a bright, mouth-watering attack softened by an unctuous mouthfeel, with notes of citrus and fresh green grass leading to stone fruit, peach, apricot, and pineapple; hints of toasted coconut and ginger add to the wine's wonderful complexity of this wine. The finish is complex and long-lasting. The wine has everything, balance, intensity, complexity, and a finish that lasts forever.
