Cabernet Franc

Our ‘primeur’ is a fruit driven wine with notes of redcurrant and bramble fruit. The wine has a short time in oak, which gives it a well-balanced mouth feel with the light oak character complementing the intense fruit characters nicely. Cabernet Franc 2021 will show a fruit forward style 1-3 years after the vintage, but will show more complexity and character with 4-10 years of bottle aging letting the Virginia “terroir” balance with the fruit core. This is a beautifully structured classic vintage Cabernet Franc.
