Walsh Family Wine Dutchman's Creek Cabernet Franc

Dutchman’s Creek is located north of Lovettsville, nearly up against the Maryland border, atop a rocky knoll above its namesake creek.  Planted in 2014, Walsh Family Wine took over management of this vineyard in 2020 and has since expanded it to 10 total acres.  As the Northernmost site that we farm, Dutchman’s Creek has as nice slowness to its ripening pattern, often with wonderful acidities in the red wines.
