Showcasing grapes from Carter’s Mountain, this is a medium- to fuller-bodied dry red with oak on the nose and an abundance of fruit on the palate. It was barrel fermented and aged for 16 months in 1/3 new French oak, 1/3 second year oak, and 1/3 neutral oak. Its well-integrated tannins and clean finish make this wine enjoyable on its own or paired with foods.
