Horton Vineyards

Horton Vineyards, located 30 minutes north of Charlottesville in beautiful Orange County, is open daily 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, just across the street from Barboursville Vineyards. We are a three generation Winery and among our award winning wines you will find premium varieties from southern France, Portugal, Spain, Russia/Georgia, and Italy. Our wines are estate grown here in Virginia. Our founder Dennis Horton was the first to bring Viognier grapes to Virginia. Visitors are invited to come explore these distinctive wines in Horton's magnificent stone winery.

We have an indoor tasting room and covered pavilion with plenty of tables to enjoy some great wine. Feel free to take photos and tag us, we love to see our customers' photos. (Please don't pick the grapes.)

We offer flights and tastings of over 50 wines. A flight is three (3) 2oz selections. A tasting is six (6) 1oz selections. You come in to make your selections, pay, and then you may take your seat to enjoy a self-guided tour. We are currently using plastic cups.
